Syensqo and Bota Bio have entered into a strategic five-year partnership to develop a high-performance innovative bio-based protein technology in hair and scalp care, with a focus on key concerns such as hair repair from within, or hair growth.
Founded in 2019, Bota Bio has rapidly evolved into a global biotech innovation powerhouse across industries such as nutrition, food, personal care, and animal health, with its own pilot plant and manufacturing facility.
Spearheaded by Syensqo’s Renewable Materials and Biotechnology Platform and our Beauty Business Unit, the collaboration will focus on developing high-performance biomimetic ingredients, drawing on Syensqo’s 40 years of expertise in hair care and growing emphasis on scalp care.
