The reduction of greenhouse gas emissions - mainly the reduction of CO2 emissions - is a growing concern for citizens and for consumers (who are usually a single person). In France, public authorities have just launched a public consultation in order to update the National Strategy on Low Carbon (SNBC) with the aim to significantly reducing emissions by 2050.

It is with this context in mind that Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie will indicate a measurement of the CO2 impact of its products in its customer quotes during 2020. Indeed, the French glassmaker considers that the choice of an eco-responsible solution implies prior information on its real impact on CO2 emissions.
Starting this year, Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie will therefore rely on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) produced using EVEA’s SIMAPRO software. The software calculates the CO2 impact of each product as well as, depending on the customer’s request, other environmental criteria.

The CO2 impact will be evaluated in all customer quotes. Each quote will also suggest one or more alternatives to help choosing the best eco-responsible solution.
