Beauty tech solutions provider Perfect Corp., the company behind the world’s leading virtual beauty app YouCam Makeup, has joined forces with premium make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics to introduce their Brow Try-On AR program within the brand’s flagship WeChat official account.
This service - the first of its kind in WeChat mini programs - will allow online beauty shoppers in China to experience YouCam-powered real-time virtual Brow Try-On to find the right eyebrow shapes and styles for their faces.
In addition to experimenting with the interactive virtual Brow Try-On to visualize various eyebrows, once the user finds the most suitable eyebrow style, he or she can easily book an appointment through WeChat at one of the Benefit’s BrowBars to have the desired look recreated by a Benefit beauty expert. Perfect’s advanced facial-point detection combined with digital color blending technologies create a true-to-life personalized AR try-on experience for Benefit consumers, preventing them from having an irreversible eyebrow fiasco in real life.
Besides being featured in WeChat mini programs, Benefit Cosmetics is providing its Brow Try-On through other channels (in select markets), including browser-based experience, YouCam Makeup in-app listing, and retail partners’ websites.
