UK’s premier packaging events are returning to London at Olympia on 1 & 2 December 2021. Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging 2021 will be the first in-person shows of the packaging industry in the UK in over a year.
Those attending will span the food, drinks, beauty, gifting, and fashion and accessories sectors. According to the organizers, brands already signed up to attend include food heavyweights Aldi, Nestlé, Ocado, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, and Tesco; household retail names ASOS and Next; drinks specialists Absolut, Coca-Cola, and Naked Wines; and beauty leaders including Elemis, GHD, Jo Malone London, Estee Lauder and The Body Shop.
Those in attendance will get to experience the latest packaging developments first-hand from over 180 specialist exhibitors.
Glass packaging specialist Croxsons, for instance, will be unveiling its brand-new range of home and beauty glass products, including bottles, containers, closures, and decorations. These new additions not only complement its existing premium drinks range, but expands its reach to include candles, reed diffusers, perfumes, and personal care.
For those looking for eco-alternatives to plastic platforms, Knoll Prestige Packaging will be officially launching its KnollLuxe® Premium Board Platform. The patent-pending, 100 percent paper and board design, means that it can replace EVA and plastic platforms as a recyclable, FSC approved luxury solution.
Organoid will introduce its Natural Hop Surface on gold paper for the very first time.
Also joining the Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging show floor will be the likes of Denny Bros, DS Smith, M&H Plastics, and Item Products.
The show’s two seminar stages — the Packaging Innovations Stage and the Luxury Packaging Stage — will feature a mix of design-focused sessions alongside panel discussions and keynote talks.
“Following a difficult year, we are excited to host Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London in 2021. Nothing beats being able to do business face-to-face, and this thinking is reflected by the broad variety of names we have seen signing up to attend the show so far. I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Olympia in September,” commented Renan Joel, Divisional Director at Easyfairs.
