Brazil’s cosmetics giant Natura has confirmed has confirmed being in preliminary discussions with Avon, the global leader in direct selling of beauty products.
Both companies declined to comment further.
Natura has more than 1.8 million consultants in Brazil and Latin America
Depending on media sources, Natura could buy Avon’s business in Brazil, or the entire company, including Avon’s North American and London-headquartered businesses.
