Pursuing its dual strategy of growth in the beauty and food sectors, the Lyon-based Groupe Medicos has acquired 100% of the stakes of Dinamic Emballages, based in Rombach-le-Franc, France.
Founded in 1984, Dinamic Emballages is a plastics manufacturer specialising in the production of single and bi-material injected parts for the beauty, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as technical parts, and using highly automated processes.
Standard products account for over 40% of the company’s net sales.
With four sites in Europe (Lyon, Izernore, and Chassal in France, and Milan in Italy), the Medicos Group is an industrial player specializing in the design and manufacture of plastic injection products and the transformation of drawn glass.
“This diversification and opening to new business sectors enables us to deploy our skills more widely on the market. Our four production subsidiaries stand out from the mass with their human dimension, their responsiveness and the diversity of their businesses: plastic injection, tubular glass, automation, IML, screen printing, pad printing, hot stamping, lacquering,” said Medicos in a statement.
With the acquisition of Dinamic Emballages, which will now be known as Medicos Rombach, the group will exceed the 40 million euro turnover mark, over 50% of which will be in exports across five continents.
“Our growth is achieved through endogenous development, as well as through the acquisition of companies offering unique skills,” highlighted Medicos.
