Danish group Matas has entrusted the Parisian full service division of Superga Beauty with the creation of the new Flora Danica fragrances.

For the creation of the brand, Grænn A/S, an incubator of Scandinavian beauty brands, which is part of Matas Group, took inspiration from the botanical encyclopaedia commissioned by King Frederik V of Denmark in 1752. The collection of four fragrances (Soul Garden, Flower Muse, Amber Echo and 1761) was developed by Firmenich master perfumers’ Olivier Creps, Nathalie Lorson and Ilias Ermenidis. Each Flora Danica fragrance is genderless, vegan, rechargeable and made of up to 92% natural ingredients.

Production of fragrances is undertaken in the Cosmeurop site operated by Superga Beauty and packaging is carried out on their BPS Fragrances site.

For this creation, the full service division of Superga Beauty also recommended ash wood perfume caps as an “elegant and ecological alternative to traditional caps”.

Fragrances are available in 50 ml and 100 ml formats. A 125 ml refill allows consumers to refill the bottles at the end of use.
