Italian beauty packaging specialist Lumson’s new jar rewrites the traditional aesthetic rules of standard skincare packaging. Aiming at tickling the senses, the new glass jar of the Romantica collection pays tribute to the beauty of nature.

The pebble-like shapes of the jar and cap and the lacquering recreate the visual feeling of a stone.

“The solidity of the shape, the lack of sharp edges and smooth borders give the jar a welcoming and tempting appeal,” claims Lumson in a press release.

Beyond the visual effect, Pebble also boasts a new tactile experience. Through an external lacquering step combined with a second semi-transparent one that lends the tactile effect, Lumson reproduces on the glass jar the natural texture and feeling of a rough stone.

In a world where digital interactions are increasingly becoming the norm in retail, Lumson offers to play on both the visual aesthetics and the physical experience of a unique creation.

“By playing with different decoration techniques for tactile and textural effects inspired by the natural world, Lumson invites you to enter a new aesthetic and sensorial dimension, where packaging totally merges with nature and nature is a valuable source of inspiration. A sensory experience to both see and touch,” says the company.
