The Portuguese luxury soap and fragrance house has opened an exclusive international store in central Tokyo’s landmark mall Lumine Shinjuku 1.

Our perfumes and luxury soaps are already popular with consumers in Asia, visiting our stores in Portugal and online,” says CEO Francisco Neto. “Now our Japanese enthusiasts have their own special space to find their favourite soaps, candles or perfumes.

The location in Japan’s capital is bursting contemporary fit outs matching its fast -paced allure, strongly contrasting with Claus Porto’s trio of historic stores set amid old-world charm of Lisbon and Porto. However, it remains less futuristic than the New York store opened in 2018.

This store will be a unique addition to Tokyo’s retail scene, bringing a taste of Portugal to the heart of the metropolis,” says Kazuyuki Hoshi, Managing Director of Specialty Division at Look Inc., Claus Porto’s partner for the Japanese Market.
