The bottle developed by Pochet du Courval for Jour d’Hermès shows exceptional statistics: 42 blueprints and 21 sampling tests were required to allow the bottle (which comes in 5 formats, 7.5 ml, 12.5 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and 85 ml) to see the light of day.

The unique expertise of Pochet du Courval enabled accurate adjustment of the bottles’ weight so that the thickness of the glass matched in luxury and balanced proportion the luxury of the fragrance throughout the range. An exceptional weight reaching 450g for the 85-ml version, coupled with a pure and flawless distribution made possible by anbreakthrough glassmaking process, enabled a launch of over one million units,” says the French glassmaker in a release.

Inverse reading silk screen printing that played with the optics of luminous and crystalline glass, added a final touch to the bottles.
