Sold exclusively by catalog from November 2013, Oriflame’s eau de toilette for men, Sir Avebury, is now proposed with brand new packaging fitted with a pump and zamak cap from Aptar beauty + home.

Oriflame has been working extremely closely with Aptar beauty + home for many years, particularly where its traditional spray systems are concerned. The challenge we set Aptar beauty + home was new, more conceptual, based on precise and demanding specifications. We wanted Sir Avebury to go upscale, to change its cap to make it more attractive, original and appealing,” stressed Rémi Chapelon, Senior Category Packaging Manager, Colors & Fragrances at Oriflame.

According to Aptar, the original request by Oriflame was very ambitious: create an attractive “heavy and substantial” premium cap with an elegant and subtle finish, all at a reasonable cost. “This particularly unusual job was carried out on a pump and skin with mat finishes. An identical lacquer was then applied to the cap, for an overall premium rendering,” explains the packaging supplier.

As a result, Sir Avebury (75 ml / 2.5 fl oz) now boasts packaging fitted with an ungalvanized cap made from lacquered and polished zamak: a cap that weighs 55 grams (2 oz), full consistent with the classic glass bottle, sober and quite weighty.
