According to the organizers, the second edition of MakeUp in New York, which will be held on September 12 and 13 at Studio 450 & Sunwest Studio, 450 West, 31st Street, New York City, will host 40 % more exhibitors than the first year. From formulation to packaging, through full-service and accessories, the 35 exhibitors will showcase a complete range of products and innovations dedicated to the make-up industry.
Educational program
For the first time, the show will feature a conference program including three round tables: “Do major make-up trends in Europe have an influence on the North American ones and vice versa?”, “Why is the Full-Service offer an underlying trend and how far will it go?”, “Make-Up Artist and make-up Innovation, a winning complicity.”
Make-up demos
The show will also feature make-up demos from well-known make-up artists, including Shana King, Beauty Director of Anisa International Inc., and Jody Formica specialized in makeup for the high definition format.
Shana King, will start performing as of day one at 10 am. She will also be "on stage" on the same day at 03:00 pm and Thursday at 11:00 am and 03:30 pm. A Beauty Expert, she is also the co-founder of adesign brushes, who launched earlier this year their make-up brush collection based on patented new fibre from DuPont, called Natrafil.
Jody Formica, for her part, will demonstrate twice the full extent of her talent on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively at 01:00 pm, 04:00 pm and then 10:am and 02:00 pm. She will use a wide range of brushes made with DuPont Natrafil fibre.
Look Good ... Feel Better
Eventually, for the second consecutive year the team of MakeUp in New York will be alongside the Association Look Good ... Feel Better on the occasion of a Gala evening organized on September 12 at 07:00pm and which will have as a setting the Hudson and East Rivers, up to the Statue of Liberty, on board the Atlantica boat for a 3 hour cruise, with DJ entertainment and gourmet dinner.
