Younique, a makeup and skincare brand founded in 2012 in Utah by Derek Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft has just entered the Spanish market. The brand is well known as a pioneer in social media-driven direct sales.

"Spain was a natural choice as the country is comprised of digitally savvy, social media-engaged women who love makeup. We are honored to share our innovations with Spain and welcome the country to join our Younique Family of nearly 450,000 Presenters worldwide," said Younique Cofounder Melanie Huscroft.

To introduce the brand to the Spanish market, Younique held immersion events in Barcelona on May 3 and in Madrid on May 4 where attendees were able to try out Younique products and meet with a professional makeup artist and representatives from the brand.

Throughout May, residents of Spain had the possibility to register as Presenters and purchase the Younique Presenter Kit that contains an assortment of the brand’s products. Spanish consumers will be able to purchase products starting on June 1, 2016.

In addition to Spain, Younique currently operates in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
