Eyeseryl: A solution for men’s eye contour

Contemporary men are looking for different ways to express their masculinity, challenging traditional ideas and clichés. More and more they opt to care for their appearance, pay attention to how their skin looks and use facial skincare to solve problems and prevent skin aging.

Young men are particularly self-critical about their look and spend more time on their grooming routine, mainly due to the selfie-culture that they are exposed to on a daily basis. The eyes are also one of the first areas where age-related signs and tiredness become noticeable, with the appearance of eyebags and dark circles. In addition to the obvious aging process, other factors such as gender contribute particularly to the presence of baggy eyes.

Recent studies have revealed that prolapse of the suborbital fat, which represents one of the main causes of visible eyebags, is more common in males than in females. Eyelid laxity and loss of elasticity have also been observed to be higher in men than in women suggesting that men are more prone than women to have eyebags related to lipids due to fat protrusion. These differences in gender are believed to be explained by the biological differences between the sexes, such as hormonal and facial shape differences.

Lipotec has recently performed a new study to prove the ability of the active ingredient EYESERYL® peptide to minimize the eyebags volume in men. The in vivo test was carried on male volunteers between 30-65 years old with prominent eyebags that applied a cream containing 1% peptide solution on one eye contour and a placebo cream on the other, twice a day for 28 days. At the end of the treatment, under-eye puffiness volume significantly decreased up to 29.7% and the overall appearance of the eye contour visibly improved as observed through digital photographs.

A self-evaluation was also carried out with 90% of the volunteers positively rating the treatment, willing to recommend the product as an efficient anti-eyebags.

EYESERYL® peptide is an effective remedy for improving under-eye region in both men and women, obtaining visible results after only 14 days of treatment.
