The 15th edition of Cosmoprof North America is approaching. The international B2B beauty event will take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, from 9 to 11 July 2017, In Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The tradeshow will gather personal care companies looking for new business opportunities in the North American market, buyers and distributors looking for new products and professionals looking for the latest industrial trends.

Focus on the supply chain

This new edition of Cosmoprof North America is set to focus on the beauty supply chain, including emerging trends, product and technological innovations.

Last year, Cosmoprof North America gathered 1,154 exhibitors representing 38 countries, and 33,750 visitors.

In addition to a significant growth in the industry’s presence with many contract and private label manufacturing companies, a special area, Discover Pack, will highlight the most innovative formulation, new products and packaging solutions for the American cosmetic industry.

In particular, the Italian excellence in the beauty industry machinery sector will play a key role, with an initiative of CMI Advanced, "Fabulous Lipstick", bringing on the show floor a production line for lipsticks, thanks to the collaboration with leading Italian companies. 

Round tables and workshops on issues related to the world of the production chain will enliven the area: from package design to the analysis of the role that packaging and new textures play on consumer behaviour.

Great attention will be paid to creativity, which helps the development of innovative packaging materials and formulations thanks to the "Beauty Innovation & Design Award", dedicated to Innovation and Design. The award is dedicated to companies in all areas of beauty: haircare, skincare, nail, make up, perfumery, natural and bio cosmetics.

Green beauty trend

The green beauty world will be another highlight of the show. Discover Green, a special area of the show dedicated to nature-inspired personal care products, will host more than 30 international niche companies this year, both in the retail market and in the professional beauty centres. New emerging brands with natural and bio products will have their own exhibition space at Discover Green Leaf, where they will have the opportunity to meet and present their product to buyers and retailers of the aesthetic and spa world.
