Present in Asia since the group was founded, Cosfibel is reinforcing its presence in the region by opening this month a sales office in Singapore. The company said goal is to be closer to its clients’ headquarters and to develop its market share in Southeast Asia.

Closer from clients

Cosfibel considers that client proximity is a key factor of success in its business as a supplier of packaging and merchandising solutions. The group has already offices close to multinationals’ regional headquarters in Barcelona, Brussels, Geneva, Glasgow, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Moscow, Paris, New York, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.

Singapore is a logical next step as historically it is a regional base for major groups’ sales and marketing teams. Today this dynamic city-state is a veritable hub in Southeast Asia,” said the company in a release.

Several of group’s major customers, such as P&G, L’Oréal and Diageo, as well as Asia’s new luxury-goods players, already manage an important part of their Asian business from Singapore.

Beverage and beauty

Marc-Antoine Bois, appointed Asia Sales Director, will head the office.
