Beauty entrepreneur and celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury is launching her first ever US pop-up in LA ahead of the holiday season. Located at The Grove in Los Angeles, the new shop is set to open on December 5, in partnership with Nordstrom. It will remain open through December 31.
Titled ‘The Gift Shop,’ the pop-up will feature exclusive and limited-edition products, alongside the brand’s best-selling makeup line. ‘Team Tilbury Artists’ will be on hand to provide makeup touch ups, offering party-perfect looks such as smoky eyes or ‘Hollywood lips’. There will also be a custom engraving service for shoppers to personalize their goods, and the option of sending a digital ‘Kissmas’ card on social media. The boutique will host a series of events throughout December, including ‘Masking Mondays’ and ‘Fizzy Fridays’.
Tilbury is bang on trend with her pop-up project, as temporary stores are fast becoming the biggest retail craze of the holiday season. Actress and designer Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the latest big names to get on board with the concept, opening her debut ‘SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker’ pop-up in New York last month, following in the footsteps of Hollywood star Drew Barrymore, whose first ‘Dear Drew’ lifestyle pop-up also came to the Big Apple in November. Meanwhile fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Nasty Gal, and Bershka have all invested in temporary bricks-and-mortar set ups this season.
