With a new identity, Beauty Melbourne is proving appealing to beauty brands, with less than 20 per cent of floor space remaining for the 2019 show, according to the organisers.

The event, which will open its doors on 23-24 March 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), Victoria, Australia, will see big names returning alongside smaller independent brands that are seeking exposure to Beauty Melbourne’s local audience of beauty professionals.

Data from Beauty Melbourne’s 2018 event shows more than 50 per cent of attendees were owners or managers and 75 per cent were decision makers for their business, a key consideration for many brands in choosing to exhibit in 2019.

Among the brands signed on for 2019 is international skincare heavyweight Murad, which will showcase its range of treatments and skincare innovations to Victorian beauty professionals. Other brands that are returning in 2019 include Payot, Dermalogica, Crown Brush, The Global Beauty Group, Timely, EyEnvy, Universal Medical Aesthetics, Lycon Cosmetics, Browqueen.

New features

Beauty Melbourne has introduced a host of new features for 2019 to keep visitors engaged at the event, including a complimentary Advice Hub with experts offering free consultations for business owners; a ‘New Launches’ initiative where exhibitors can easily emphasise new products and services to visitors on the show floor; and an All-Access Education Pass, providing unprecedented value by offering 18 education sessions over the two-day event covering trending topics in beauty.
