Swiss group Art & Fragrance SA, which is active in the creation, development, marketing and worldwide distribution of luxury goods, has acquired all shares in the filling and logistics company Cosmetics Perfumes Services (CPS), based in Ury, France. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

CPS was founded in 2005 and is active in the preparation, filling and packaging of perfumes and cosmetics. The company also provides associated logistics services such as storage of components and finished goods, as well as handling and shipping. CPS’s customers include Art & Fragrance-owned Lalique Parfums and Jaguar Fragrances. The collaboration with Lalique dates back to 2007. CPS also previously cooperated with Nina Ricci, among others.

Art & Fragrance, which owns a portfolio of brands including Lalique Parfums, Parfums Grès, Jaguar, Bentley, Alain Delon, will now gradually transfer the conditioning of its entire perfumes portfolio to CPS.

By in-sourcing the production and logistics for our perfume brands, we are controlling and securing a key element in our value chain. This is an important strategic advantage in light of our now significant perfume volume. We also expect savings in our production and logistics costs in the medium term,” says Roger von der Weid, CEO of Art & Fragrance.
