The Albéa group has recently inaugurated its 38th industrial facility in Levice, Slovakia, bringing its industrial presence to a 15th country in the world. This addition to the group’s production network is the result of the acquisition of the laminate tubes facility Scandolara Tub-Est s.r.o in August 2016.

Six laminate tubes facilities in Europe

The Albéa Levice site serves global and regional brands across Europe, primarily in the oral care market. Its 130 people achieved sales of circa EUR 20 million in 2015. The plant holds multiple ISO certifications. With this acquisition Albéa intends to consolidate its regional leadership in tubes, extending its industrial footprint and capacity to serve its customers across Europe where it now boasts six laminate tube facilities - in France, Germany, UK, Poland, Russia and now Slovakia.

Albéa’s aim is to leverage Levice’s recognized customer service, flexibility and responsiveness, while bringing in investment for technical leadership and innovation.

We want to support our customers in all their ambitions – and in the Tube business, this means providing geographical reach, innovation, operating excellence, robustness and agility. Levice is a key asset in this growth strategy. I am delighted to welcome the Levice team to Albéa. Together we are much stronger,” said François Luscan, CEO & President of the Albéa group.
