Albéa, one of the main global suppliers of packaging solutions for the cosmetic, perfume, skincare and oral care markets, has finalised an industrial agreement with the Vacheron group, one of whose subsidiaries specialises in the anodization of aluminium parts.

The agreement includes the transfer of the subsidiary Albéa Annecy SAS - which used to belong to the Personal Care division of Rexam, which was acquired by Albéa earlier this year - to Vacheron Industries. Specialised in the forming, anodizing, finishing and assembly operations associated with the design and development of metal and plastic packaging solutions for the cosmetics sector, the subsidiary of the Albéa group completes and strengthen the positioning of Vacheron Industries in this market.

"The staff and the equipment will be transferred to the site of Vacheron Industries," said a spokeswoman for Albéa.

Furthermore, Albéa and Vacheron Industries have finalised a privileged partnership agreement for metal products.

This agreement is in line with Albéa’s strategy of proposing to its customers integrated metal-plastic solutions for all of its regions—Europe, Asia and North America—whilst maintaining project management for all plastic injection and assembly activities,” concludes Albéa in a release.
