After opening a bar of rare perfumes called Liquides in the Haut Marais quarter in Paris, the pair composed of David Frossart and Philippe Di Meo are now resuming their fragrance line adventure, Liquides Imaginaires, which had been temporarily suspended. The first trilogy was designed two years ago, although it had not been much distributed at the time. Philippe Di Meo created the fragrances, Givaudan developed them, and we were brought back to the sacred origins of perfume. The three “Eaux Delà” fragrances, Sancti, Fortis and Tumultu, glorified the celestial, redeeming or carnal imaginary with hints from the esoteric world.

This time “Eaux Sanguines”, the new trilogy, is also based on an allegory, as its fragrances flow into an analogy with divine wines: three pinkish, ruby, copper-coloured juices for three great wines. Dom Rosa is a rosé champagne, a tribute to the La Rose des Vignes, Bloody Wood is a bourgeois wine with the blood colour of Gods, Bello Rabelo is reminiscent of porto, the fragrance of adventure with vanilla hints of passion.

The 100 ml French made glass bottles (Verreries Brosse) are topped with a tin-like Zamak cap, thus evoking the amphoras standing in the merchandising area of the store. These amphoras are real perfume vases, and limited series of them can be made to measure by Orfèvrerie d’Anjou for 1,100 euros.

Fans of this fabulous world will enlighten their nights with the “Sang noir” night candle recalling forest mysticism (1.7 kg, 250 euros).

In France, the collection is distributed by Différentes Latitudes at Liquides et L’Éclaireur, in Paris. It is already present in Italy, and will be launched in Russia next December. It should also keep developing throughout France before travelling to America and England.

Recommended price (100ml): 160 euros
