During its Annual General Meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany, the European Federation of Perfumery Retail trade (FEPD) appointed its new President. It is Robert Leygues, also a member of the Management Board of the French Federation of Selective Perfumery (FFPS), who was elected for a term of two years. He succeeds Andréa Malinverno, President of the Italian Federation of Perfumery Retail (FINAPRO) who filled that position for four years, during which he had been actively involved in the contract renewal in selective perfumery with the European Commission.

Robert Leygues

Robert Leygues has built his experience both with brands and selective distributors. Indeed, after in particular an experience as a Sales Director at Nina Ricci, he joined in September 2002 the selective distribution by integrating the Beauty Success brand as its purchasing manager.

"Robert Leygues during his tenure intends to vigorously defend the principle of the selective distribution contract in perfumery and contribute to improving the image of the profession with manufacturers and European authorities," detailed in a statement the FFPS.
