For Collagènes 9, the latest addition to their Expert line of facial care, Dr. Pierre Ricaud entrusted Valérie Bernard, a colour designer who has worked closely with the brand for several years. The aim was to select a colour that conveyed the idea of firmness and dynamism as well as femininity, while fitting perfectly into the colour strategy that was defined for the product line two years ago. Violet was the most obvious choice.
Today the line features four metallic shades: sea green for Hyalurides Expert, solar yellow for Luminosource, coral orange for Capital Energie and mauve violet for Collagens 9.
“When I opened my agency more than 20 years ago, I specialized in package design. But very soon I felt the need to develop my activities as a colour designer, which I had started with Joël Desgrippes and Jean Philippe Lenclos. The logical next step was to found my own colour workshop, a place dedicated exclusively to my passion, and that opened up an incredible creative world,” Valérie Bernard explains.
