Following on from the recent launch its lipsticks housed in metallic packaging, Sothys is modernizing its makeup range with two new compacts complete with magnetic closures, one for face products, the other for brows. Texen Beauty Partners (a subsidiary of PSB Industrie) once again collaborated with the brand on this development.
Available in 20 shades, Sothys’ lipsticks are now housed in anodized aluminum packs. More elegant and modern, they include a magnetic closure to make usage easier as well as a weighted base for a more luxurious feel. Texen Beauty Partners and Sothys opted for a patented mechanism made without glue or lubricant and a 12.7mm cup made from black shiny PCTG.
Square compacts synonymous with elegance
With these two different compacts, Sothys is aiming for the faultless effect of a black square thanks to a contrast between matte and shiny finishes. For both a chic effect and for practical reasons, both feature an internal glass mirror and a magnetic closure.
The smaller version, available in two shades, is destined for brow products. It houses a pressed powder, the indispensable ally for impeccably groomed brows with a natural, silky finish. The larger design is created for three references for the face that offer radiant, long-lasting and enhanced makeup effects.
Both designs are made from mass-dyed ABS with a matte lacquer. On their lids, the Sothys medallion plays on contrasts thanks to a shiny black screen-printed motif. Along the same dual lines, the mass-dyed internal insert is also rendered in shiny black. The larger version of the compact contains an element to hide the magnet featuring the brand’s logo, which is engraved in the mold.
