The next edition of the International Exhibition of Raw Materials for Perfumery (SIMPPAR) will take place on June 5 and 6, 2019 at Espace Champerret in Paris, France.

The event is held every two years under the auspices of the French Society of Perfumers (SFP) is becoming more and more international and from the 1500+ visitors, a larger number of foreigners is coming to Paris, many of them are perfumers or users of these raw materials.

From the 90 exhibitors expected, 75 have already confirmed their participation:

 France: 31,
 India: 7,
 Italy, China and Bulgaria: 5 each,
 Egypt: 4
 UK, Germany and Spain: 3 each
 Australia, Switzerland and USA: 2 each
 Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Turkey: 1 each

According to the organisers, about 2/3rd of the exhibitors will present essential oils or natural products and about 15 exhibitors are focusing on synthetics.

All raw materials will be proposed, from citrus to woods, florals, spices and good surprises are expected from several suppliers. Among other products, new SFE [1] extracts and molecules obtained by biotechnology for perfumery will be presented for the first time,” said Véronique Dupont, SFP President.

The SIMPER trade show is held every two years under the auspices of the French Society of Perfumers (SFP).

Furthermore, on June 5th evening, the French Society of Perfumers will remit the 31st Young Perfumer-Creator Award which, since 1957, remains a great event.
