It is in the elegant and friendly atmosphere of the Illuminum Fragrance Lounge, located in the heart of Mayfair in London, that Cécile Zarokian, perfumer, and Matthieu Appriou, illustrator, are showcasing their creations, from September 5 to October 4, 2013. The idea is simple "magnify two arts just to make one." The paint brush follows the olfactory narration, the nose is lead by the sketch.
Each of the two artists got inspiration from the creations of the other. As a result, six illustrations and six fragrances echoing each other, with three fragrances inspired from three illustrations and three illustrations inspired from three perfumes.
The exhibition has already been shown in Paris in September 2011. "The exhibition is now showcased in London and I’d like it to travel again, may be one day in New York," says Cécile Zarokian.
