The show, which will be held on the 12th and 13th of June 2013 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris, will host 250 exhibitors (compared to 225 last year), including presentation pack manufacturers, samples, POS, promotional item distributors, specialists in printing, finishing, and CRM, and also advertising and design agencies.

World Tour and trends

Back in Pack & Gift this year, the Pack & Gift World Tour exhibit, organized in cooperation with Jean Jacques Evrard, Pentawards founder, was conceived as a travel around the world’s most original event-based packages found these last few months in China, Japan, Europe and the USA.

This year, Pack & Gift creates a new trend and innovation animation titled: " Pack & Gift Trends - Material, colour, usage, eco-design".

A dedicated area will present future trends illustrated by the most telling exhibitors’ innovations in terms of materials, colours, usages and eco-design. The organisers have entrusted Thema Design, an advisory agency in the fields of innovation, marketing and communication, for selecting exhibitors’ innovations and to showcase them according to the material, colour and usage trends, identified in its monitoring activity. In order to complete this analysis, Thema-Design will host a conference on the theme: "Materials, sensations and emotions: prospective landmarks" on Wednesday, June 12 at 1.30pm.

This year, Pack & Green exhibition and competition, dedicated to eco-conceived innovations will be part of the Pack & Gift Trends exhibition. An exhibition area will provide exhibitors with an opportunity to showcase their latest designs and innovations aimed at reducing the environmental impact of promotional packages.

Along with the exhibition, the Pack & Green Award will honour the most sustainable packaging solution, both in terms of design, materials used and in terms of production process, transportation, product usage, not to mention the end of its life. The jury members [1] will assess the products according to the criteria and coefficients of the Pack & Green 2013 charter, given to each participant. The final deliberations in the presence of all jury members will be held during the fair, on Wednesday, the 12th of June, in the afternoon.

Conferences and events

The program of conferences at this 6th edition of the event attempts to cover a wide scope of issues: from packaging including QR codes to the constraints of packaging design for the travel retail, including a semiotic approach to packaging, the legal protection of packaging and gifts, as well as customer relationship management.
