NYX Professional Makeup is heading to Coachella, and it is bringing a glitter fountain. The makeup brand has unveiled its first exclusive cosmetics sponsorship of the 2019 edition of the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which will run over two weekends next month — April 12-14 and April 19-21.

The label is planning an immersive on-site ’Glitter Trip’ experience offering festival-goers access to an interactive beauty bar and touch-up area, a glitter fountain and a lip and tongue slide. The installation has been inspired by its newest ’Glitter Goals’ beauty collection. Users will also be able to recreate looks from the celebrity makeup artist Nam Vo, who recently teamed up with the brand.

"It only made sense to take this one step further and create an immersive festival experience that excites both brand loyalists and new fans alike."

The move is the latest collaborative milestone for NYX, whose innovative partnerships have previously involved launching a sweet treat-themed makeup collection with My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream and Uber Eats, and teaming up with Samsung Electronics America on an innovative virtual reality makeup tutorial via Samsung Gear VR.
