The Texen group continues its transformation under the leadership of Ludovic Anceau. The French-based beauty packaging specialist has just presented its first collection of full-service mascaras at the MakeUp in Paris show last week and has appointed Mercedes Osti (ex-Albéa) to head its global sales.

With extensive experience in industry and in-depth knowledge of the packaging sector, Mercedes Osti intends to promote the synergies between Texen Industries, Texen Beauty Partners and Texen Innovation in order to create a new energy.

After 12 years spent at Arjowiggins, the global leader in technical paper, where she contributed to the development of the firm’s luxury packaging business, Mercedes Osti became director for France at Gruppo Cordenons, a specialist in premium paper. In 2011, she joined Rexam, where she was its rigid packaging sales director for Europe. After Albéa acquired the firm, she was in charge of key accounts for brands like Clarins and Shiseido.

Texen: B to B to C

Effective June 11, Mercedes Osti took over Texen’s global sales organization. She intends to restructure the department by developing “strong services and tools to boost the organization and benefit the world’s beauty players.” In particular, she will have to promote this new dynamism between the group’s different divisions, more specially with the Texen Beauty Partners division, which is key to the success of the company’s new B to B to C strategy.
