The Massilly group, specialising in metal packaging solution for the world’s leading food, beverage and consumer product brands, recently announced the acquisition of the Russian based manufacturer of aerosols Linar, from the Lindal group. Through this acquisition, Massilly intends to strengthen its industrial footprint in the aerosol market and enable a closer relationship with its customers.
The Linar company was founded in 2002 and is serving the cosmetics and industrial markets. It is currently operating two tinplate aerosol lines from Nevinnomyssk, Stravropol region in the Russian federation.
"We are very pleased to have completed the acquisition of Linar which will assist us to expand our activities into the aerosol market. It is also an important step in developing our activities in the Russian Federation. Massilly will continue to operate the Linar plant as it is and will secure continuity in the service to its current customers," said Thomas Bindschedler, Massilly group CEO.
The Massilly group, which operates 14 factories, generated sales of 275 million euros in 2011.
