Maesa, a French cosmetics maker specializing in the development of tailor made lines, has picks up international business accolade for the Ile-de-France region at the 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Ernst & Young and L’Express magazine have given the award highlights Maesa’s strong international development.

Julien Saada - who founded Maesa together with Gregory Mager - welcomed this award as recognition of the company’s efforts to extend its presence internationally. "Following an intense external growth phase, our export strategy is now focused on organic growth. Our business model is sound and there are plenty of major accounts still to be won. We plan to push ahead with our development in the coming years".

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is given out for seven major French regions: Ile-de-France, North, East, Rhône-Alpes, Mediterranean, South-West and West. This year two new partners, namely Verlingue, an insurance broker specializing in company protection and OSEO, a benchmark public body responsible for financing innovation and growth in French companies, have joined La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild to support the awards.
