The Luxe Pack in Green Award 2014, which rewards the best eco-conceived initiative presented at the Luxe Pack Monaco tradeshow went to Euro Cosmetic Asia, associated to Sanyo Chemical, for their T-eco cosmetic jar.

The T-eco cosmetic jar, by Euro Cosmetic Asia and Sanyo Chemical won the Luxe Pack in Green Monaco 2014 award

This cosmetic jar was completely eco-designed: a reduced 40% of plastic, fully recyclable, reusable and refillable. Its simple replacement design enables an easy take-off with only two fingers, thus providing a suitable answer to customers.

In addition, the revolutionary over-moulding injection and in-mould labelling technique protect the decoration with anti-counterfeit and scenic values. Both environment-friendly and sophisticated, its shape allows the light to enhance the finishing and the product’s brand.

The jury [1] also attributed another award, the “Jury’s Special”, to Heinz Glas’ initiative, to recover heat from its furnaces to power a tropical greenhouse in the heart of Franconia. The furnaces of the German glassmaker thus provide the population of the Bavarian region with exotic fruits and the visual show of tropical fishes.
