Lumson and Leoplast, two leading manufacturers of primary cosmetic packaging, have announced an agreement leading to the gradual integration of Leoplast into the Lumson Group. The operation will generate significant investments to strengthen Leoplast’s production capacity and support on its development in international markets as an excellent manufacturer of primary packaging for lipsticks.

This operation allows Lumson to enlarge its range of products for the make-up market with the addition of an extended offering of standard and custom lipsticks, available in different materials and finishes, with customization by innovative decoration technologies.

The acquisition is directly related to Lumson’s strategy, that is aiming to be a privileged partner for its customers, taking the benefits of a European production platform, marked for quality, reliability, ability to answer with flexibility and to ‘time to market’ needs, which are always more and more pressing,” says Lumson in a release.

Founded in 1975, Lumson operates two main production sites in Italy with a staff of about 450 employees and is led by Matteo Moretti.
