Jayn Sterland has been announced as the new Managing Director for Weleda UK. Previously Jayn was the Commercial Director for Weleda UK, sharing the management directorship with Roger Barsby, Operations Director, who is retiring after 35 years of service working for the company.
Jayn joined Weleda in 2008 as Marketing Manager. “Using her marketing experience managing high profile fashion brands, Jayn took some of the company’s cult classics such as Weleda Skin Food to the mass market. Over the past eight years Jayn has developed Weleda’s brand profile making it more visible, more accessible and more current, with sales in the beauty sector doubling during this time. Jayn re-energised the brand with creative projects, and was appointed Commercial Director of Weleda UK in 2012,” reminds the brand in a release.
Established in 1926, the UK was amongst the first international markets the Weleda Group expanded into.
