Spectacular launches, iconic relaunches, new ranges…Texen multiplied its collaborations in 2018. Among its developments, Texen Beauty Partners is pleased to reveal two consumer success stories: Candy Puff Powder blusher and Panoram’Eyes mascara, both developed as a full-service proposition for Douglas-Nocibé.
From formula to packaging
With Candy Puff Powder, Texen achieved a trendy design with a fine powder perfectly compacted. “Its cushion applicator leaves a veil of color, highlighting the cheeks and sculpting the features,” highlights Texen.
At the brand’s request, Texen Beauty Partners developed this product thanks to its full-service capabilities, initiating for the occasion its first collaboration with a French formulator specialized in compact powders. Using a standard pack injected in matte black plastic, the blusher has a cap that is opened thanks to a ribbon insert in the exact same shade as the powder itself. A removable base houses a hidden sponge applicator. On the sides of the pack, the text is screen-printed on and is identical for each of the three references. Volume: 3.2g.
Douglas-Nocibé’s Panoram’Eyes Mascara
Awarded a Victoires de la Beauté for 2018 in the makeup category, this mascara is directly inspired by makeup artists. It owes its biggest advantage to its twisted 360° brush, which has a folding wand and bends mechanically by up to 90° to offer the best application angle. This allows the wearer to create a three-in-one makeup result combining volume, length and curl.
For this project, Texen successfully brought together the expertise of a pioneering factory specialized in mascara brush innovations and that of an Italian formulator, also expert in its domain.
“As project manager, Texen has used its expertise to combine the best choice of a tried-and-tested formula, a patented brush and the most appropriate silicone wiper, as well as selecting the perfect pack size to allow the desired make-up result,” said the company.
The pack is available in 12ml, 5ml and 2ml versions. Developed here in an aluminum-clad version, it is also available in plastic alone. The brush can be injected from Hytrel or TPE.
