Diadeis, one of the world’s leading pre-media and design agency, which works closely with major multinational companies, such as Nestlé, Unilever or L’Oréal, has acquired Brazilian design agency Kong Rex. This acquisition follows other major operations, including the acquisition by Diadeis of New York headquartered agency GSG, and of the Indian agency Alia. This new operation is strengthening Diadeis’ global position in a wide range of services linked to graphic creation, prepress and brand life cycle technology tools.

With this new presence in Sao Paulo, Diadeis further expands its geographical coverage, providing services to blue-chip brand owners around the globe. “Establishing an office in Brazil gives us several key benefits. First, it gives us a better way to service US companies that are increasingly investing in this region. Our Sao Paulo office also serves as a gateway to the growing Latin America market,” says Jean-Charles Morisseau, President Diadeis.

Kong Rex main activities include branding, package design and mechanicals, as well as POS and editorial creation. The studio works for first class clients such as Danone, Kraft Foods, Marilan, Avon, Bunge and Ferrero.

Kong Rex brings several key strengths to the Diadeis’s global expansion. Their local expertise, extensive knowledge about Brazilian consumer habits and visual vocabulary, and a deep understanding of international markets and multinational corporate cultures make them the perfect partner for Diadeis in this country,” adds Thibault Jaime, Diadeis Managing director for Latin America.
