The second edition of the Cosmetic 360 tradeshow will take place on 13 and 14 October 2016 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. For this new edition, the Cosmetic Valley is going big by increasing the exhibition area from 3,000 to 5,000 m2, thus opening the possibility to gather 240 exhibitors in 2016, vs. 150 in 2015.

Emmanuel Macron, the French of the Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs, inaugurated the first edition of the Cosmetic 360 trade show. According to the Cosmetic Valley, which is organising the event, it welcomed 4,043 visitors, including 14% international visitors from 53 countries. Photo Arnaud Lombard / Cosmetic Valley

The Cosmetic Valley also intends to expand the number of international partnerships. In addition to Japan, Spain and China, which were participating in the 2015 edition, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan will join the 2016 edition, as well as new partners from China.

Connected beauty will also be highlighted, thanks a close collaboration with the CES show in Las Vegas, the world’s largest event dedicated to innovation and trends in consumer electronics and technology, including robots, beauty tech items and other high-tech devices.

Eventually, the organizers also want to invite more distributors to the show, to organize more conferences and to strengthen the Open Innovation session.

The concept remains the same: turnkey modular booths fitting the needs of SMEs and pre-arranged meetings allowing project holders to meet the innovation staff of large cosmetic groups.

"The Cosmetic Valley is not the usual mercenary fair organizer. This is a big difference and it’s a big strength. Next year we will be able to provide our exhibitors with additional exhibition space and to scale up the participation of distributors," explains Marc-Antoine Jamet, President of the Board of Cosmetic Valley.

This second edition will take place in the context of an increased competition between beauty tradeshows in France, with the launch of the first edition of Beauty Factory, which will take place one month before with the aim to give a new impetus to the suppliers section of Beyond Beauty Paris, and with new dates for Luxe Pack Monaco that will take place in September.
