Jean-Paul Corbeil, CEO

Premium Beauty News - One of your strong points of course concerns your design capacities?

Jean-Paul Corbeil - Our design department is devoted to creating new and fresh ideas, while striving to do their best to transform the customer’s vision into production-ready componentry. These units are then produced at consistently high quality levels. The concepts and designs that evolve out of Corpack, are not only constructed with the latest in 3D software, but in the end, have been technically tested in terms of feasibility on the production site.

We have the ability to supply either standard components or lines, to modify them to achieve "customized standard“ products or create an entirely new custom design exclusively adapted to the customer’s needs.

Basically, our experience is in assisting the customer in finding or developing a packaging solution with standard or custom-designed components, monitoring the production process and coordinating the shipment of the finished goods to any location on the globe.

Premium Beauty News - Can you give us some recent examples of products designed by your teams?

Jean-Paul Corbeil - Corpack was recently given the opportunity to redesign the BEYU nail lacquer unit. The new BEYU nail lacquer has a more distinct form with a more up-dated outline. The slim, cylindrical form of the cap, allows for a more ergonomic grip which supports a cleaner, more comfortable application. At the same time, the straight form of the cap contrasts vividly with the trapezoid shape of the bottle. The introduction of more pronounced edges, gives the new presentation a more modern appeal. The new BEYU nail lacquer unit basically transforms into a fresher version of the former shape, more contemporary, yet without giving up or losing its’ link to the brand.

Corpack also developed and produces the packaging of Olfacto’s "db" fragrance. The clear, simple lines of the unit, visually enhance the "db" in an understated way. The square, simple shape conveys elegance on a high level. The choice of colour is intentionally held puristic in nature, to emphasize the characteristic of the mood and gender. Expressive black represents the male side, whereas the female equivalent is designed in classy white. The silky-matte surface gives the consumer an additional sensation of touch, distinctively adding another dimension to the overall impact of the packaging.

Finally, a year ago Corpack launched the "Allegra" skincare line which is a logical extension to the "Allegra" color line. The simple, clear shape, demonstrates, whether individually or collectively speaking, a beautiful compilation of symmetry and proportion. The contemporary style of this line, in conjunction with a complementary colour and graphic finish, will give the line an individual touch and high grade of recognition. This makes it a versatile range of packaging that will appeal to a wide variety of end users. This up-to-date design and choice of materials and wall-thicknesses, transmits a sensation of enhanced quality to the customer. The line not only impresses with its uncomplicated design, but feels good to the touch, a sensation that is also important for the long-term success of any packaging. The line is momentarily comprised of 3 bottle sizes in PET (w/ screw cap or pump), two jar sizes (15 & 50 ml), as well as 3 glass dispenser sizes (two sizes in progress).
