The Albéa group, one of the leading manufacturer of packaging for the cosmetic, perfume, skincare and oral care markets, recently announced the sale of its Cotuplas subsidiary to Automation Industrielle SA (AISA)

Albéa Argonne, the group’s new production facility specializes in plastic and laminated tubes

Based in Sainte Ménehould, France, and employing 30 people, Cotuplas is specialized in the design and manufacturing of machinery equipment for Albéa’s cosmetics and personal care laminate and plastic tube business.

AISA is a family-run Swiss-based company and one of the leading suppliers of equipment, offering innovative laminate and seamless plastic tube packaging production solutions. AISA, which employs 200 people in its production site in Vouvry (Valais, Switzerland), is also one of Albéa’s key suppliers for tube machinery equipment.

This merger between Cotuplas and AISA should enable Cotuplas to continue to grow in a stable, supportive environment and in the best possible conditions. Cotuplas should also benefit from new commercial opportunities across the world. The sale has no impact on Cotuplas employment,” says Albéa.
