YG Laboratories, a California-headquartered manufacturer of private label skin and body care products, recently appointed Melanie Edwards as the new vice president of the company’s Spa Division.
Melanie Edwards previously worked as a consultant and for the spa and cosmetics industries. Her professional background includes: VP of Spa Development, American Leisure; Senior VP, Spa Development, Puig Prestige Beauty; VP of Spa Development, Training and Education, Decleor USA, Carita USA; President, Spa Essentiels; and Director of Education and Training and National Spokesperson for Phytomer.
At YG Laboratories, Melanie Edwards is responsible for spearheading the new Spa Division, in particular its mission to address the needs of the high-end resort, and destination and day spas, with private label products designed for massage, body cares, and specialty facials. “This new channel of distribution offers these specialty venues the opportunity to promote their brand through products tailored to their unique services,” says YG Laboratories in a release.
