Texen, a subsidiary of French group PSB Industries and a manufacturer of plastic packaging for the cosmetics and perfumery industries, just acquired the totality of Massachusetts-based manufacturer of injection molded pieces and moldmaker, Mar-Lee Companies.

Mar-Lee Companies is headquartered near Boston and achieved a turnover of USD 19 million in 2007. “This company has a highly qualified staff, a high-technology know-how, and highly automatized facilities that allowed it to address the needs of its clients and to generate strong growth over the latest years. The Mar-Lee Companies’ competences will help Texen to complete its global network, and to address the needs of its American customers in cosmetics and perfumery industries,” the company stated in a release.

Texen, which ranks third in the World among the manufacturers of plastic packaging for the cosmetics and perfumery industries, achieved a turnover of EUR 125 million in 2007.
