The Pochet group, French leading supplier of high-end glass bottles, has acquired 100% of the shares and voting rights of the Solev company, a family business specializing in metallization on glass and plastic supports as well as in innovative finishing techniques, such as laser engraving. Solev currently employs 300 staffs at its French site located Martel (South-West of France), and 150 people at its site in Brazil, near Sao Paulo.

"Through Solev, the Pochet group is acquiring a strong know-how in design while simultaneously consolidating its manufacturing capabilities in Brazil," said Irene Gosset, Head of the Executive board of Pochet SAS.

The integration of Solev, which is becoming a subsidiary of Pochet SAS, also aims at accelerating its development capabilities, in particular for heavy R&D investments. In the wake of the acquisition of Qualicosmetics (ex Lisi Cosmetics) last April, the Pochet group therefore continues to supplement its expertise and to strengthening its position as a leading supplier of high-end packaging for the perfumery and cosmetic markets.
