A patented innovation

The Léa Nature group, a French specialist in natural and organic cosmetic and health products, distributed in mass retail stores and pharmacies, has developed a line of organic nail polishes certified by Ecocert and labelled with the Cosmébio logo.

This patented innovation is formulated without nitrocellulose, contrary to conventional nail polishes, but contains a natural gum and a minimum of 40% organic ingredients. A real progress for the environment, according to the brand.

Launched at the end of April under the So’Bio étic brand, the range features five colours (rubbish red, raspberry, golden beige, pinkish brown, chocolate) and also boasts a beneficial effect for the health of nails. Each colour comes in a bi-phasic form that consumers must shake well before each use. The oily phase, based on organic safflower oil (Carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil) concentrates most of the nail care action to "strengthen and protect." The colour, composed of mineral and natural pearls, is concentrated in the other phase.

Reformulation

However, because of their composition, the So’Bio étic nail polishes are more adherent to the nail than classical varnishes and cleansing, possible with any type of solvent, requests more time.

Nevertheless, since the launch of the varnishes, many consumers informed the brand about their difficulties for cleansing the product. Therefore, the Léa Nature group has decided to reformulate its product to solve this difficulty and ensure the maximum satisfaction of its customers. The products should be relaunched in September.
