French manufacturer of packaging to the fragrance, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, Axilone, developed a new process to shorten production time of the cap covering the bottle designed by Ross Lovegrove in collaboration with Narciso Rodriguez for his women fragrance Essence.
The cap is made of Surlyn PC 2000, and its stripping requires no use of slides. Thanks to a direct removal of the piece from the mould, no mould parting line is visible and the transparency remains perfect.
The production cycle time of this fully massive, isomorphic, and smooth cap has been shortened to ensure the quick launch of the product on the market.
