Natrue, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, was created in 2007 in order to establish an internationally uniform standard for natural and organic cosmetics.

We are proud of what we have achieved over the last years in collaboration with our partners. Our goal is to continue raising awareness of natural personal care, and to protect and promote this internationally,” commented Klara Ahlers, Natrue President.

Over the last eight years, the product diversity of certified organic and natural cosmetic products has increased sharply, so as the choice for consumers – from hair and men care products to decorative cosmetics for the face and nails.

According to Natrue, one of the market’s key trend is the increasing sourcing of natural active ingredients from all around the globe. Thus, consumers are increasingly interested in product’s certification, which now encompasses a large array of issues, including trade fair, vegan, halal, etc.
